Home Attendant Care's pre-op service is designed to ease anxiety before procedures and assist patients with any specialized dietary requirements or restrictions.
Many people become anxious before surgery so having a caregiver to talk with and provide transportation to the medical facility can be comforting.
Pre-op services are available by private pay and can be scheduled with 24 hour notice. We provide care for pre-op patients on an hourly basis or in 12 hour shifts, depending on individual needs.
As a follow-up to pre-op care our post-op service is specially designed for those who have just had out-patient surgery or another type of medical proceedure. Our caregiver can help with transportation, prescription drop-off/pick-up and assistance settling in at home for the recovery process.
This post-op service provides patients, medical professionals and loved ones peace of mind knowing trained caregivers are on hand to make sure recovery begins safely.
Generally the post-op service would be up to 1 hour and is often less expensive than an inpersonal cab ride.
At this time pre-op and post-op services are being provided within the city limits of Bellingham, Ferndale, Burlington, Mount Vernon, Sedro Woolley, LaConner and Anacortes.
