Debbie Gann: DirectorEmail Debbie Phone: 360-734-3849 Debbie, working in healthcare since 1987, has become a recognized advocate for the rights of seniors choosing to remain independent in their own homes. She joined Home Attendant Care in 1997, and worked to establish the company’s reputation for fast responses and quality in-home care. Debbie naturally assumed a leadership role in the company followed by majority ownership in 2006. Today she oversees the day-to-day direction of HAC, is treasurer of Alzheimer’s Society of Washington and serves on the board of Elder Service Providers of Bellingham. Debbie continually strives to educate seniors and their families about health care issues. Because of her contributions to the local community, Debbie was selected as the Whatcom Women in Business 2009 Professional Woman of the Year. Outside of her passion for caregiving, Debbie enjoys camping, playing soccer, cooking and entertaining friends. She is often seen accompanied by her dog, Rugby, who you may occasionally find asleep on her desk. |

Paula Carrasco: Care Coordinator, Skagit/San Juan/Island Co.Email Paula Phone: 360-755-1547 Paula joined HAC in 1994 and is responsible for managing schedules and supervising caregivers on a daily basis. She is an elder advocate and often serves as a liaison between clients, families and caregivers. Paula performs on-site evaluations, caregiver trainings, and helps ensure compliance with State regulations. She has worked with the senior population for many years and has become a specialist in geriatric issues that include dysfunctional living situations and working with those afflicted with Alzheimer’s or other forms of Dementia. Scrapbooking, reading and church activities are a few things Paula likes to do when not assisting seniors. |

Trynn Dionne, MSW: Case Manager, Skagit/San Juan/Island Co.Email Trynn Phone: 360-755-1547 Trynn joined HAC in 2011 after moving back to Skagit County to be near her aging parents. During her 40+ year career in California she received extensive training on ethics and earned a Masters of Social Work. Trynn now works closely with HAC’s care managers, ensures clients receive thorough in-home evaluations, develops a plan of care, and oversees services provided. She serves as a liaison between clients, family members, physicians and, when appropriate, acts as an advocate for clients. When not working at HAC, Trynn can be found kayaking around Puget Sound, listening to live music, and reading books. |

Joy Fuda, LPN: Case Manager, Whatcom CountyEmail Joy Phone: 360-734-3849 Joy brought more than thirty years of nursing experience with her when she joined Home Attendant Care in 2011. As case manager for our Bellingham office she works with individual clients to develop a plan of care and then oversees the services provided. Joy also serves as liaison between clients, family members, physicians and, when appropriate, acts as an advocate for our clients. In 2008 she moved to Bellingham from Idaho to be closer to her three grown children and three grandchildren. |

Chantelle Arneson: Care Coordinator, Whatcom CountyEmail Chantelle Phone: 360-734-3849 As a former caregiver Chantelle has the experience and knowledge necessary to assist HAC clients; we were thrilled to have her re-join our team as care coordinator in 2011. She uses her experience to schedule client services, monitor customer satisfaction and maintain the office environment in our Bellingham location. When not at Home Attendant Care, Chantelle is busy working her way through the Registered Nurse program at Whatcom Community College and is enjoying every minute of it. |

Jim Darling, RN MSEd CCM: Community Resource Liaison, All CountiesEmail Jim Phone: 360-734-3849 Jim joined our management team in 2011 to focus on finding the best community resources for clients of Home Attendant Care. His experiences include serving in the US Air Force, graduating from Florida State University, becoming a Registered Nurse, and working in the health care industry for 40 years. Jim also earned a graduate degree in education, making him qualified to teach health-related workshops and classes on behalf of HAC. In his spare time Jim coaches for the Bellingham Blitz semi-professional football team and for Whatcom Boys and Girls Club youth football and soccer. He lives in Bellingham with his wife, Dr. Rieko Darling, who is a professor at WWU. |

Karen Swan, BSN: Case Manager, All CountiesPhone: 360-734-3849 Karen brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to Home Attendant Care when she joined the team in 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and has worked in a variety of medical settings since 1975. Karen uses her professional assessment and personal communication skills to provide seniors with the knowledge and tools necessary to be as independent as possible as they manage their health care needs. In her free time she loves to watch football, basketball and soccer, and personally enjoys running, biking, and hiking. |

Deanna: Finance ManagerEmail Deanna Phone: 360-734-3849 Deanna joined Home Attendant Care as finance manager in 2004, bringing with her more than twenty years experience in private industry, public schools, and non-profits. She is responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping for the agency’s Burlington and Bellingham offices. Deanna received an A.S. in accounting from Cabrillo College in Aptos, California and lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for ten years before moving her family to Bellingham. People may be surprised to learn that, in addition to knitting, reading and gardening Deanna also loves to play virtual world games on-line! |

Andrew: Human Resources ManagerEmail Andrew Phone: 360-734-3849 Andrew began working at HAC in 1999, filling a need for 12-hour night shifts. He has a business management degree emphasizing in accounting from Whatcom Community College where he was the 2007 Business Administration Student of the Year and Business Club President. In 2007 Andrew started working in our Bellingham office, handling a full range of human resource duties including interviewing new employees, serving on HAC’s safety committee, coordinating L&I claims and more. He also offers support to the finance department as needed. When not at HAC Andrew actively participates in local soccer and baseball leagues and enjoys going to Seattle Sounder's games. |

Dave: Project ManagerEmail Dave Phone: 360-734-3849 As partial owner of Home Attendant Care, Dave’s primary duties involve interviewing new employees, organizing orientations, managing equipment and working on a variety of special projects. His hands-on experiences in the company (since 2003) allow him to seamlessly float between our Burlington and Bellingham offices, assisting wherever needed. Dave’s management and interpersonal skills, gained during 30+ years teaching elementary school, are true assets to the company. Swing dancing, riding his motorcycle and working around his home on the North Fork of the Nooksack River are all things Dave likes to do when away from HAC. |

Ceilidh: Office AssistantCeilidh joined Home Attandant Care in 2011. She helps our Bellingham office with reception duties, filing and a variety of special projects. |

Rugby: Valued Team MemberRugby was born on Mother’s day in 2008 and has been part of the Home Attendant Care team ever since. Caregivers love giving him treats in exchange for seeing his repertoire of tricks. He also helps to spread joy to the office staff especially in times of stress. |
